I trust that all of us are apostles of Covey's 1st habit -- Be Proactive -- meaning that we want to take responsibility and effect action. So what mutual understandings can we agree upon here today, to embed in our mental models and to act upon? With reference to the title of this conference -- the Secure E-Business Executive Summit -- can we agree that lacking systems that meet the underlying requirements for records management there can be no security of information, and little accountability for performance? I hope so. However, one way or another, we can be assured that the results will speak for themselves ... in the actions we take and the records we create after we leave here today.
