OCEAN · ADVENTURE
Marcus T. Karp
Down by the sea, where all the fishes swim,
Dove Marcus T. Karp, a boy tall and slim,
He wriggled through the seaweed and slid by the eels,
Got bitten by a jellyfish, on both of his heels.
He started to yell, for he knew there was trouble,
But all that came out, was a mouth full of bubbles.
He paddled with his legs, he paddled with his arms,
He didn't move an inch, eyes wide with alarm.
For as he looked out in front of him, he saw a shark's sharp teeth.
Marcus dove a little deeper and swam underneath.
The shark swerved to the left,
Marcus paddled to the right.
And faster than a speedboat, Marcus swam out of sight.
