GROWING UP · FUNNY
Toothless Grin
As I grow older,
My teeth do, too.
Popping out of my mouth,
Whenever I chew.
Sometimes they hang,
By one skinny thread.
Then seem to fall,
Right out of my head.
But Hooray, Hurrah,
I'm happy as can be.
For tonight will come,
The tooth fairy!
Under my pillow,
I stash my tooth.
And say good-bye,
To that "chewer" of youth.
I'm finally asleep.
The tooth fairy comes in,
Now I've got money,
But a toothless grin.
