The theory of the firm holds that organizations form when the cost of transactions becomes too great without them. The Internet facilitates communications and, with proper attention to security, can greatly reduce the needless overhead associated with business transactions.
In terms of business transactions, "precise communications" means clear, complete, and accurate records that are securely preserved and readily available when and where neeed.
